Semen Gresik Holds SGIC VI 2023, the Highest Appreciation Event for the Company's Best Innovators
Rembang, September 29th, 2022 – PT Semen Gresik gave the highest appreciation to the best innovators within the company in the event of Awarding Semen Gresik Innovation Convention (SGIC) VI 2023 in the Ballroom of Fave Hotel Rembang.
Attending the event online, the Director of HR and General Affairs of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), Agung Wiharto and President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Muchamad Supriyadi, Director of Finance & HR of PT Semen Gresik, Fardhi Sjahrul Ade, along with management and employees.
Director of Human Resources and General Affairs of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), Agung Wiharto, in his opening remarks, said that there had been extraordinary innovators who were born from the struggle for the establishment of PT Semen Gresik Rembang Factory.
"Therefore, every employee has cells of struggle that can be a spirit of encouragement in making the best contribution to the company, the community, and the environment," he explained.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT Semen Gresik, Muchamad Supriyadi appreciated the VI SGIC event because it had succeeded in capturing 40 innovation works, a significant increase of 105.2% from last year. The involvement of innovator personnel increased by 18.8% from the previous year.
"He is also grateful for the committee's performance, starting from the socialization process, registration, judging to the SGIC awarding which he said was spectacular and innovative," Muchamad Supriyadi explained in his release (27/9).
He hopes that the innovators will be able to spread the spirit of innovation that produces quality work to foster a positive impact on the company's environment and unite energy in supporting the Company's roadmap.
The winner of the 1st place in the Quality Control Cluster (GKM) category of the Sumber Angin 6.0 team, Reza Arif Syaifullah, expressed his pride and gratitude for being chosen as the winner, an extraordinary achievement for the Sumber Angin 6.0 team. As well as being a motivation to continue to improve the company's operational excellence.
"We hope that the SGIC event will be able to consistently capture and encourage the spirit of innovation for employees so that innovation can become a work culture in supporting the sustainability of the company going forward," he concluded.
